The metal lobster clip has a smart swivel function and the general feel of the lanyard is that it's strong and long-lasting.

There is also a safety release at the back of the lanyard ID neck strap.
The safety catch ensures that if the lanyard becomes caught or tangled it is easily removed from the wearer's neck.
So if it becomes stuck in something it is simple to release and your staff won't be in any danger.
