To use fill the glass with port and sip through the pipe to experience more intense flavour due to drinking from the bottom of the glass where there is low oxidisation. The stem of the glasses has an elegant pipe style straw coming from the bottom and curved round to the ideal position to sip the port. The logic behind this is that less oxygen can reach the liquid through the pipe which will give you a better drinking experience.
