(‘Uh-Gah-Vee’) The “Agave” Plant
Tequila is made from a plant called the Agave (‘Uh-Gah-Vee’), which is a spiky plant found in Mexico and other southwestern parts of the United States. Agave plants usually take around 8 years to reach maturity before they are distilled into Tequila from the cooked and fermented juices. While there are hundreds of different types of Agave plants, Tequila can only legally be made from the Blue Agave plant.

Washing: DO NOT USE cleaning balls. Wash with warm soapy water & mild dish detergent. Clean once empty to help avoid stains.
Capacity: Holds up to 850 ml and ideal for a standard 750 ml (25 oz) bottle of Tequila.

For Stains:
1. Rinse the decanter.
2. Soak in warm water.
3. Pour 1/2 cup of coarse salt with 1 cup of white wine vinegar.
4. Cover the spout and swirl the solution throughout the decanter.
5. Repeat if necessary.
6. Rinse very well with warm water.
